Lots of manufacturers are carrying trends from 2015 into 2016, one of such is the advent of 2-in-1 or hybrid or laptop-tablet devices. Announced in New Delhi last week, India-based brand, Smartron has a new device in this format called the Smartron t.book.
Running Windows 10 OS, the Smartron t.book sports a 12-inch IPS display with 2560 x1600 pixels (WQXGA) screen resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and aluminium & magnesium metal body with oleophobic coating. The detachable flip-stand and keyboard come in handy when switching to and fro.
Under the hood, the device is backed by an Intel Core M processor with up to 2.0GHz clock speed along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD for storage. Photography is handled by a rear facing 5-megapixel autofocus camera and a front facing 2-megapixel snapper.
The Smartron t.book packs 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x USB Type-C port with USB 3.0, 1 x Micro-HDMI port, microSD card slot and
magnetic pogo pin for external keyboard support. Other options includes Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO and Bluetooth.
In terms of pricing the t.book is available for a price tag of Rs. 39,999 (US$ 604) in Grey and Orange colour options starting April 8th exclusively from Gadget360.
