Entry-level Sony D2203 Phablet with 6-inch display spotted on GFXBench

Sony is reportedly working on an Xperia Phablet – Sony D2203 with 6-inch display but with entry level specs. The phablet sized device runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and has been  spotted on GFX benchmark with most of its specs listed along and as expected a launch date could be near.

According to the listing, the Sony D2203 features a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (FWVGA). Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. 

There is 4GB of internal storage, out of which only 1.7GB space is avaialable to the user; there should be a microSD card slot for storage expansion. There is a 5MP Autofocus rear facing camera with flash and a front facing VGA camera for video chats. 

The Sony D2203 is said support only one SIM; have Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, and GPS connectivity option. The phone is listed to be running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS but there is no mention of the battery or a microSD card slot. It is expected to be announced at the IFA 2014, the Sony D2203 phablet could possibly debut alongside the Sony Xperia Z3.
