Videocon Mobiles has a new midrange smartphone with Voice over LTE and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS heading for the Indian market. The 5-inch sized device is available for an affordable price tag of Rs 10,000 (USD 150), in Royal Blue and Space Grey colours to choose from.
The Videocon Krypton3 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with DragonTrailX 2.5D Curve Glass and relies on a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735V processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
In the camera aspect, the main camera is a 13MP rear facing camera with Samsung’s ISCOCELL sensor, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) and Dual-tone LED flash while the front camera is a front facing 5MP camera with LED flash for selfies. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Videocon Krypton3 has Dual SIM slots and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. It also comes with smart gestures, free games on gameloft app and free 6 months subscription of ErosNow app.
