The mainstay mobile operator in Taiwan – Taiwan Mobile has posted information on its new voice calling LTE tablet – the TWM Amazing P8 (or if you may like, the Taiwan Mobile Amazing P8). The 7-inch device which is reportedly manufactured by Chinese mobile device maker – ZTE, costs NT$ 4990 (USD 155) and will be sold by authorised outlets.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the TWM Amazing P8 sports a 7.9-inch TFT display with WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) screen resolution and backed by a sizeable 4000mAh battery. It is powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.0GHz (MT8735) along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with Fill light (LED) and a front facing 2-megapixels camera. The tablet supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, measures 211.2 x 125.3 x 8.5 mm in dimensions, weighs 330 grams and makes voice calls. Other connectivity options includes – micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
