Another day, another smartphone from the Indian market. iBall has announced the successor to the Andi5T Cobalt2 that was announced early this year, this device is called the iBall Andi5S Cobalt3. For me the name is kinda tricky but the device itself has the specs to stand up to devices within its specs and price range.

The iBall Andi5S Cobalt3 features a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD IPS OGS display powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.

On the rear is a 12MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera. Connectivity options on the device includes Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, micro USB, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi. The device also packs a 2200mAh battery which keeps the show running.

The iBall Andi5S Cobalt3 is available for a proce tag of RS 12,499 ($207/ €157/ N34,000).

Last week the company announced the 10.1-inch iBall Slide 3G 1026-Q18, which runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat and supports Voice calling as well as Dual-SIM functionality.

Also in August, iBall announced the Andi 5K Panther with an Octa-Core Soc, 5-inch display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 1900mAh battery and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
