Aiming to reach $100 million in revenue over the next two years, Swipe Technologies have been constantly adding new devices to its product portfolio. The company has announced a new voice calling 10-inch tablet with 3G connectivity in India. The new slate, dubbed the Swipe X703, is available exclusively on e-commerce retailer – Snapdeal for a price tag of Rs. 7499 (USD 111).
Moving to the specification, the Swipe X703 boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and sports a sizeable 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA IPS display. On the inside, it relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (Possibly Mediatek) with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls and maybe selfies. The device has Dual SIM slots, supports 2G and 3G networks and makes voice calls over headset or the speaker.
Other connectivity options available include – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. The Swipe X703 is backed by a sizeable 6000mAh battery which promises up to 150 hours of standby time.
