Swipe X703 3G Voice Calling tablet with Android 5.1 Lollipop Debuts

Aiming to reach $100 million in revenue over the next two years, Swipe Technologies have been constantly adding new devices to its product portfolio. The company has announced a new voice calling 10-inch tablet with 3G connectivity in India. The new slate, dubbed the ‎Swipe X703, is available exclusively on e-commerce retailer – Snapdeal for a price tag of Rs. 7499 (USD 111).

Moving to the specification, the Swipe X703 boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and sports ‎a sizeable 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA IPS display. On the inside, it relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (Possibly Mediatek) with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls and maybe selfies. The device has Dual SIM slots, supports 2G and 3G networks and makes voice calls over headset or the speaker. ‎

Other connectivity options available include – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS. ‎The Swipe X703 is backed by a sizeable 6000mAh battery which promises up to 150 hours of standby time. ‎
