Sony last week announced the Cyber-shot DSC-KW11, a digital camera in a perfume bottle shape perfect for taking selfies and one classy enough for the fashionistas. The camera has been designed to help ‘fashionistas’ capture their ‘perfect OOTD (outfit of the day) and selfies. Consolidating on making the camera more appealing Swarovski crystals were incorporated into the design.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 features a 3.3-inch OLED display, 1,299k dot resolution, LED flash, a 19.2MP 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor and an f/2 21mm wide- angle lens (lens mounted 180 degree swivel). The device measures 57.7x125x20.1mm, and weighs 136 grams inclusive the battery and microSD card.
For sharing purposes – to social media, between devices and other accounts the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 supports NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. NFC allows for fast and easy transferring of content between two devices. Users can also take advantage of the camera’s attachable ring stand to be hung on a wall or tilted for handfree selfie taking.
Shooting modes on the device includes – Intelligent Auto, Scene Selection, Beauty Effect (in Audio and Video mode – Skin Smoothing, Skin Toning, Eye Widening, Face Slimming,Shine Removal) and Picture Effect (Toy Camera and Partial Colour).
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 would be available in Asia-Pacific countries from October. The device is currenly available for pre-order between August 22 and September 19 in Green, Pink, White and Violet colour options for CNY 5199 ($846 /€643 /N140,000).
