Remember the LG G Vista which debuted in the US on Verizon last month? The LG G Vista is landing in Korea for Korean operator LG U+ as the LG GX2, a successor to the LG GX which debuted December 2013.
The LG GX2 features a 5.7-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display, powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB). It has a 8MP main camera with Laser AF and LED flash as well as a front facing 1.3MP camera.
The device supports LTE-A connectivity as well as standard options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The LG GX2 measures 152.1 x 79.2 x 9.1mm, weighs 165g and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with LG’s latest UX, KnockCode and support for LG’s Quick Circles Cases. It also has buttons similar to the G3, rear buttons for power and volume adjustment.
Taking into consideration, the LG GX launched last year featured a 5.5-inch 1080p qHD IPS LCD display, powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera and a 3140mAh battery.

The LG GX2 is expected to launch on September 18 in Titanium Black and White colour options. Pricing details of the phablet would be announced on a later date but it is unlikely it debuts in markets other than the Asian markets.
