Reliance retail has continue to expansion of the number of smartphones under its LYF series. The new entrants – the LYF Water 4 and the LYF Water 6, both come with their notable Voice over LTE (VoLTE) feature and run Android Lollipop OS like most of the other devices from the brand.
Both the LYF Water 4 and LYF Water 6 are very similar with the amount of internal storage space and pricing, the only things distinguishing them. The former has a 16GB built-in storage space and is priced at Rs. 7599 (US$ 113) while the latter has a 32GB storage space and is priced at Rs. 8999 (US$ 134).
The LYF Water 4 (and Water 6) sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with ASAHI Dragontrail glass protection, powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Both Dual SIM enabled devices are packed in a plastic body (White colour only), support 4G LTE connectivity, run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and backed by a 2920mAh battery. The devices measure 142 x 70 x 7.7mm in dimensions and while the Water 4 weighs 136g , the Water 6 weighs 138.5 .
