Flipkart in collaboration with Intel has announced 5 new Intel-powered Android tablets in the DigiFlip Pro series lineup with the Flipkart DigiFlip Pro XT911, Pro XT901, Pro XT811, Pro XT801 and Pro ET701. All device run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with promise of an upgrade to Android 4.4 Kitkat Soon.
The Flipkart DigiFlip Pro ET701 is the least of all the stated devices; it features a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card for storage expansion. It has a 2MP rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi and 3G via a USB dongle. The Flipkart DigiFlip Pro ET701 is priced at Rs 5,999 ($99).
The Flipkart DigiFlip Pro XT811 features a8-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card for storage expansion. The device sports a 5MP rear camera and a front facing 2MP camera, and a 4,200mAh battery. The device supports voice calling functionality and connectivity options include Wi-Fi and 3G support. The device is available for RS 10999 ($182); The DigiFlip Pro XT801 is essentially a Wi-Fi-only variant of the DigiFlip Pro XT811 and is priced at Rs 8,999 ($149).
The Flipkart DigiFlip Pro XT911 features a 8.9-inch (1920×1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card support. On the rear is a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera and a 6,500mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device includes 3G support and voice calling functionality. The Flipkart DigiFlip Pro XT911 is priced at Rs 15,999 ($264), and the Digiflip Pro XT901 is its Wi-Fi only variant, priced at Rs 13,999 ($231).
