Sony SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk
The IFA 2014 is yet to commence but his hasn’t stopped some of the devices slated to be showcased at the event from leaking out. Here has been talks of upcoming accessories from Sony, the SmartWatch 3 and the SmartBand Talk has been spotted in live images. Sony has scheduled September 4th for its press event and the two wearables are expected to debut a the event.
Going by the details available, the Sony SmartWatch 3 is expected to run on Android Wear OS platform and it would be a step up from its predecessors. The device is said to look very similar to the Galaxy Gear 2 Neo smartwatch from Samsung. As accustomed to Sony, the device is said to be dust resistant and water proof (IP58 certified to be precise). The Sony SmartWatch 3 features a 1.68-inch (320 x 320 pixels) display and asided that we don’t really know much.
Moving on to the Sony SmartBand Talk which is said to be the successor to the SmartBand SWR10. The health monitoring fitness tracker device would support Bluetooth connectivity and feature a curved E Ink display. Other specs details are not available until the devices are available fully.
Asides to the two wearable, the company is reportedly going to announce three new smartphones and a waterproof tablet (the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and the Xperia Z3 Compact tablet inclusive). We just have to wait some couple of days to get our hands on the full details.
