MSI announces the GS30 Shadow portable Gaming Laptop and Gaming Dock

MSI this week announced the GS30 Shadow, a 13.3-inch portable gaming laptop with a Gaming Dock with PCIe Discrete graphics card which complements the Intel Iris Pro graphics which comes with the Laptop.

The MSI GS30 Shadow packs a 13.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display, powered by an Intel 4th Gen Core i7 processor with Intel Iris Pro Graphics, the system boast up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and supports 2 M.2 Solid state drives. Other specifications include a SDXC card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI Output, USB 3.0, a 730p webcam, backlit Keyboard, WIFI 802.11ac and packs a built-in 4-Cell Li-ion battery.

The MSI GS30 Shadow weighs 1.3kg, measures 320 x 227.3 x 19.8mm and runs on Windows 8.1 OS. The device comes with a Docking station designed specifically for it which ups the performance of the laptop. The PCIe Discrete Graphics Card coupled with the Gaming Dock can be replaced with any higher PC graphics card.

The Dock features HDMI and DVI outputs, audio Jack and a PCI-e x16 slot for a graphics card. It is not necessary to carry the Gaming Dock along with you everywhere you go as the Dock is bigger than some desktop computers.
