Huawei Honor 4 Play Announced with 64-Bit Soc and 4G LTE

Huawei has announced the Huawei Honor 4 Play with 64-i bit Soc and 4G LTE support for the Chinese market. Just last month the company announced the Huawei Honor 3C Play with near similar specs. The Honor 4 Play sees Huawei swap chipset from MediaTek to Qualcomm Snapdragon and the internal storage reduced to 8GB as compared to 16GB on the Honor 3C Play. Asides that both devices share similar specs and not forgetting the included 4G LTE connectivity support added.

The Huawei Honor 4 Play sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8MP camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.

The device has Dual-SIM slots with dual standby and sports a faux leather back cover similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The device is powered by a 2000mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Connectivity options includes 4G LTE Cat.4, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Huawei Honor 4 Play would be available online in China starting September 23rd (today) at a retail price of 799 Yuan ($130 or €101). As accustomed to Chinese Smartphones, it is a 2 out of 10 this device launches internationally or for other markets.
