Intex Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power Smartphones Launched With Android 4.4 Kitkat

Intex Technologies has announced this week three new smartphones targeted at the midrange category at an event in india. The company announced the Intex Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power smartphones all powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processors with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support and run on Android Android 4.4.2 kitkat out-of-the-box. All three smartphone come pre-loaded with Intex Play, Intex Games Club, Opera Mini, Xender, NewsHunt, Zapak, OLX and Matrabhasha.

The Aqua Star features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front facing camera, 8GB of inbuilt storage (up to 32GB via microSD card), measures 8mm in thickness, weighs 130 grams and a 2000mAh battery powers the device.

Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The Intex Aqua Star is available in Black and White colour options for a retail price of Rs 6990 ($114 / €90 / ₦19,000).

The Aqua Star HD features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, a 13MP autofocus rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 8GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), measures 8.1mm in thickness, weighs 150 grams and a 1800mAh battery keeps the device ticking. The Intex Aqua Star shares same connectivity suite as the Intex Aqua Star.

The Aqua Star HD is available is in Leather Black and Grey colour option (with free covers in Red, Black, Maroon and White Colours) for a price tag of Rs. 8,690 ($142 / €112 / ₦24,000).

The major highlight of the Intex Aqua Star Power is its 3000mAh baery capacity. Other specs details includes – 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, a 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front facing camera, OTG support, Measures 10.5mm in thickness and weighs 160 grams. The device shares the same connectivity suite as the Aqua Star and Aqua Star HD.
