Towards the end of last month (May), Panasonic announced the availability of the Panasonic Toughbook 33 in the US. The 2-in-1 detachable laptop comes with a premium keyboard (detachable) and is built to survive very extreme conditions (MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards).
As expected, the Panasonic Toughbook 33 comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 OS along with features such as Windows Ink, Cortana, and Windows Hello. It sports a 12-inch 2160 x 1440 pixels QHD 3:2 wide-view angle display with direct bonding and provides six flexible usage modes including flip and tablet modes.
It is powered by 7th-gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB solid state drive (SSD) with heater. It also comes fitted with twin hot-swappable batteries that promises up to 10 hours of battery life or up to 20 hours with the optional long-life battery configuration.
Other features include – IP55 digitizer pen, 1080p webcam and 8MP rear camera and two vehicle docks (a tablet vehicle dock and a 2-in-1 vehicle dock). The Panasonic Toughbook 33 will be available from authorized resellers later this month starting around $3,649.
