Gionee’s upcoming ‘F’ series budget smartphone – the Gionee F109N (final name unknown yet) has been spotted on Chinese certification agency – TENAA’s website. The device comes pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and the company’s Amigo UI laced on it.
Measuring 143 x 70 x 7.9 mm in size and weighing in at 141.9 grams; the Gionee F109N has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution, Dual SIM slots and a 2,660mAh battery. On the inside, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz paired with 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone has a predominantly plastic body build, 16GB built-in storage space (which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD), rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. It also supports all the major network bands in China.
The Gionee F109N has no fingerprint sensor (rather the Gionee logo is etched into the back and both the power (or lock) button and volume rockers on the right hand side. There is no word on when the device will go official, how much it will sell for and which markets it will go on sale in.
