At an event in China today, Oppo officially announced the launch of the Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 Plus smartphones. The duo, which are the follow up to the Oppo R9s and R9s Plus (respectively), arrive with a metal unibody design, dual rear cameras and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with ColorOS 3.1.
The Oppo R11 (and R11 Plus) features a primary 16MP camera with wide-angle lens (f/1.7) aided by a secondary 20MP camera with telephoto lens (f/2.6). Both cameras combine with Qualcomm’s Spectra ISP for Optical Zoom, Hybrid AutoFocus, Bokeh, potrait modes and other camera features.
The front snapper is a 20MP camera with f/2.0 while the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button. The R11 has a 5.5-inch disply and 3000mAh battery with VOOC fast charging while the R11 Plus has a bigger 6-inch display and 4000mAh battery, also with fast charging. There is no word on pricing yet, however, it will arrive in three colours: Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colours.
