iBall, one of India’s known mobile device makers, has launched a new 4G VoLTE enabled voice calling tablet – the iBall Slide Elan 4G2. The slate has voice calling function (via headphones or headsets) and comes with a 1-year warranty. It has a MRP of Rs. 13,999 (US$ 217) and arrives in Golden colour option.
Moving to the specs, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) capacitive multi-touch IPS display, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), lasting 7,000mAh battery with intelligent power management and additional DC pin charging slot.
It is powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 processor, boots the dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Photography is taken care of by a rear facing 5-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixels camera.
The iBall Slide Elan 4G2 measures 10.4 mm thick, weighs 575 grams and supports 4G LTE connectivity, USB OTG, 9 regional Indian languages and 21 Indian regional languages (read and write – keyboard support).
