The first set of smartphones from the Leagoo KIICAA series will be the KIICAA S8, KIICAA S8 Lite and KIICAA S8 Premium. The trio will pack 4GB – 6GB of RAM, 64GB – 128GB built-in storage space and the 18:9 aspect ratio made popular by Samsung’s latest flagships – the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
The Leagoo KIICAA S8 will reportedly have a 5.72-inch display with rounded corners and HD+ screen resolution while the KIICAA S8 Premium will have a 5.99-inch display with FHD+ resolution. Compared to these duo, the Lite model could have a smaller display (maybe 5.5-inch or more).
The trio will be powered by the Mediatek Helio P23 (MT6763) octa-core 16nm processor with ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. A fingerprint sensor will also be on-board. The highest model of the KIICAA S8 will sell for under $300 and the first to hit the market should be available in two months time.
