Chinese device maker, Vivo has finally announced the Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus smartphones with dual front cameras. Both models are the follow-up to last year’s Vivo X9 and X9 Plus, continue the company’s tradition of releasing camera-centric X series smartphones.
The duo feature a front facing 20MP f/2.0 camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and soft LED flash, aided by a secondary 5MP f/2.0 camera for capturing depth information. The main camera is a 16MP sensor with LED flash, 1/2.8 inch sensor and PDAF. The X9s Plus (RK1608 DSP) can also capture RAW images.
The X9s sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 proessor and a 3,320mAh battery while the X9s Plus has a 5.85-inch display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and a 4,015mAh battery. Both devices have 1.59mm narrow bezels on the sides, 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space and fingerprint sensor (home button).

Pricing and Availability
The Vivo X9s is priced at CNY 2698 (US$ 396) while the Vivo X9s costs CNY 2,998 (US$ 441). The duo will go on sale this July and are available in Gold, Matte Black and Rose Gold colour options.
