On the back of recent reports that the ASUS ZenFone 4 family will hit the markets relatively soon (late July), the company’s website (Russia) has listed up the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL) aimed at people living a mobile and active lifestyle. The device has a dual rear camera setup, one of which has a 120-degree angle lens and a massive battery with intelligent power saving for an active all day usage.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max is available in two Qualcomm processor models – quad-core Snapdragon 425 mobile platform with Adreno 308 GPU and octa-core Snapdragon 430 mobile platform with Adreno 505 GPU. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Zen UI on top and is available in different RAM and built-in expandable storage models: 2GB + 16GB; 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.
The device, which is the direct successor to the Zenfone 3 Max, sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and arrives in three colour options: Black, Gold and Pink. Just below the display, the fingerprint sensor (0.3 second unlock time) sits on the front home button.
For photography, the device has rear dual 13MP cameras with 80-degree lens, EIS and 0.03 second PDAF along with a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens, and soft LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes: 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max depends on a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging and charges other devices via USB OTG. It is expected to last up to 40 hours of talk time on 3G, up to 22 hours of video playback and up to 46 days of standby time on LTE.
Pricing for the ZenFone 4 Max starts at RUB 13,900 (US$ 231 or EUR 203) for the 2GB model.
