AT&T has announced the launch of a new budget smartphone in the U.S market called the ZTE Blade Spark. It is second Blade series smartphone to go on sale in the US (after the ZTE Blade V8 Pro) and available on the carrier’s Prepaid platform (as well as online and in stores). Pricing is set at $99.99.
Pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, the ZTE Blade Spark has full metal body build, 5.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, and a 3,000mAh battery which offers up to 10 days of standby time and up to 17 hours of talk time.
On the inside, the device features Dual SIM slots, 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD), 2GB RAM and relies on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 mobile platform clocked at 1.4GHz. For photography, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with PDAF and LED flash alongside a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The ZTE Blade Spark measures 156 x 78 x 9.7mm, weighs 174g and supports 4G LTE networks (2, 4, 5, 12, 30, 29). Other features include fingerprint sensor, USB-C charger and Dolby Atmos sound.
