Earlier today, Xiaomi officially unveiled its latest Mi smartphone – the Xiaomi Mi 5X at a launch event in China. The smartphone has a similair camera setup as the Mi 6 flagship and comes pre-loaded with MIUI 8 (based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS) but will get the MIUI 9 update when it begins rolling out.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X is equipped with dual 12MP rear cameras, one with a wide-angle lens and the other with a telephoto lens. It sports a 7.3 mm thick unibody metal design with rounded edges and anti-fingerprint coating, 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass and rear fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability
Available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colous, the Xiaomi Mi 5X is priced at CNY 1,499 (US$ 222) and will go on sale in China starting August 1st.
