Cubot Note Plus: 5.2-inch FHD display, Front and Rear 16MP Cameras

Chinese device maker, Cubot has listed up a new smartphone – the ‎Cubot Note Plus on its official website. The device is being positioned as a camera-centric phone due to the front and rear facing 16MP SONY cameras. The rear camera has a 5P lens, 1A LED flash, 0.1s focus speed, Blue glass ICR, and f/2.2 aperture while the front camera has a 5P lens and 50mA soft selfie.

The Cubot Note Plus sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, 424 ppi pixel density, 1300:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 450 cd/m2 and 90% NTSC colour gamut. It packs ‎Dual Micro SIM slots, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot (expandable up to 128GB).

It relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5GHz with ‎Mali-T720 MP2 and boots near-stock Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device supports 4G LTE networks (FDD-LTE: Band: 1 / 3 / 7 / 8 / 20) as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and USB Type-C port.

The Cubot Note Plus also has a rear fingerprint sensor with 0.1 second unlock time and 360-degree fingerprint recognition. It measures 148 x 72.8 x 8.5 mm and will be available in Black, Gold and Starry Blue colours. There is no word on pricing yet.
