Tecno Mobiles has unveiled its newest camera-centric smartphone series – the Tecno Spark and Tecno Spark Plus. The new series will serve as an alternative to the company’s Camon series, thus caters for users who love to enjoy optimal photography experience on a budget.
Both the Tecno Spark and Spark Plus comes equipped with a rear facing 13MP camera with 5P lens, blue glass filters, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. The front snapper is a 5MP camera with 5P lens, front and screen flash, 83-degree wide angle selfie and 120-degree panoramic selfie. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with HiOS on top and features a rear fingerprint sensor.
Tecno Spark K7
Backed by a lasting 3,000mAh battery, the Tecno Spark features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with either 1GB or 2GB RAM, and 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD).
Pricing for the Spark starts at N32,800 and available colour options are Champagne Gold, Coral Blue, Metallic Red and Phantom Black.
Tecno Spark Plus K9
With the same 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution as the Spark, the Tecno Spark Plus features a larger 6-inch IPS display with 2.5D NEG glass and 77-percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 2GB RAM and relies on a 3,400mAh battery.
Available in Anthracite Grey, Champagne Gold, Elegant Blue and Scarlet Red colours, the recommended retail price (RRP) of the Spark Plus K9 is N36,500.
