Huawei’s subsidiary brand, Honor has released the affordable Honor V9 Play with a number of solid specs as expected. The device sports a metal unibody design, rear fingerprint sensor (0.4s unlock time), 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, and 3000mAh battery (non-removable).
The Honor V9 Play has a single 13MP rear camera with PDAF, 1.12um pixel size, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while the front camera is 8MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Emotion UI ontop and powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor.

The Honor V9 Play is currently on pre-order in China and goes on sale from September 12th. The 3GB RAM model is priced at CNY 999 (US$ 153) while the 4GB RAM model costs CNY 1,199 (US$ 184).
