Recently, LEAGOO released two new smartphones with 18:9 full screen displays and dual rear cameras: the Leagoo S8 Pro and Leagoo S8 at a launch event in Shenzhen. Both devices are powered by octa-core Mediatek processors and could pass-off as knock-off versions of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
The Leagoo S8 Pro sports a 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 SHARP display, 13MP (OV) + 5MP Samsung dual rear cameras front 13MP camera and a 3,050mAh (LG) battery with 9V/1.5A quick charge. It packs a 2.6GHz Mediatek Helio P25 octa-core processor paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB built-in storage (eMMC 5.1). Pricing starts at US$ 299.99.
On its part, the Leagoo S8 has a smaller 5.72-inch (1440 x 1080 pixels) SHARP 18:9 display, 13MP (Sony) + 2.0MP dual rear cameras, 8MP (OV) + 2.0MP dual front cameras, and a 3,050mAh battery with 5V/2A quick charge. It relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. Pricing starts at US$ 169.99.
