Inroducing The Google PixelBook Convertible Chromebook

Earlier today, Google unveiled a couple of consumer hardware products including the all new Google PixelBook and Pixel 2 phones. ‎The high-performance Chromebook, which combines the best parts of a smartphone, tablet and laptop, comes with premium hardware, Google Play, Google Assistant, Google Drive and the speed, simplicity and security of Chrome OS.

The Google PixelBook has a 12.3-inch high-res touchscreen display, dedicated Assistant key, thin keyboard with back-lit design and a ‎convertible 4-in-1 design which allows it to be used in form factors. It is currently the thinnest and lightest laptop ever ‘made by Google’ at 10.3 mm and 1.1 kg.

On the inside, it relies on either of the Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 51GB storage options. It lasts up to 10 hours of usage on a full charge and promises up to two hours of usage with only 15 minutes.

The Google PixelBook Pen is the first available accessory for for the PixelBook. It has 60 degrees of angular awareness and 2,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, and uses Machine Learning for handwriting recognition. Pricing for the PixelBook start at US$ 999 for the Base model and US$ 99 for the PixelBook pen.

Both the PixelBook and PixelBook pen will go on sale at Google store and other major retailers including Best Buy in the US, UK and Canada.‎‎
