The Honor 6C Pro is the latest smartphone quietly unveiled by Huawei’s Honor brand. The 5.2-inch device, which follows the recent Honor 7X and Honor WaterPlay, is the Pro version of the Honor 6C announced back in April and the re-branded version of China’s Honor V9 Play for the European market.
Available in Black, Blue and Gold colours, the Honor 6C Pro has a single 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, and LED Flash; and a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display, hybrid Dual SIM and 3,000mAh Li-ion battery.
The device comes pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1and relies on an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage plus up to 128GB more via microS5. It also packs a hybrid Dual SIM slot (nano + nano / microSD) and rear fingerprint scanner.
The Honor 6C Pro weighs 145g and measures 147.9 x 73.2 x 7.65 mm. It is priced starting at EUR 179 (US$ 211) and should go on sale in coming days in markets around Europe starting with France. According to various sources, it will also be available in Russia.
