Harman International, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has announced pricing and availability details of the Harman Kardon Invoke with Cortana. The voice-activated speaker, which was announced in May in partnership with Microsoft, will be available starting at $199.95 in the U.S. from October 22 online at HarmanKardon.com and both in-store and online at Best Buy and Microsoft Store.
Available in either Graphite or Pearl Silver colour, the Harman Kardon Invoke blends rich audio, premium materials and the intelligence of Cortana. It is equipped with 3x direct-radiating woofers, 3x direct-radiating tweeters and 2x passive radiators to deliver powerful 360-degree sound. Also, the smart speaker features Harman’s Sonique far-field voice recognition technology paired with 7x microphones to easily grasp voice commands.
With Cortana digital assistance built-in, Invoke can play music from multiple music services including iHeartradio and Spotify Premium, get news update, manage calendars and schedules, set reminders, control music, answer questions, connect to Office 365 information and voice control smart home devices.

With Skype integration, the Harman Kardon Invoke promises Skype-to-Skype calling and promises unlimited free outbound calling from the United States to mobile phones and landlines in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
