Allview has announced a new mid-range 4G smartphone with 18:9 FullView display – the Allview V3 Viper. It also comes pre-loaded with the company’s AVI voice assistant, becoming the third Allview phone, behind the X4 Soul Infinity and X4 Soul Vision to take advantage of Allview’s AI platform.

The Allview V3 Viper is equipped with a 13MP AF rear camera with Fast Zoom, Panorama and Face Beauty Video, alongside a 13MP front selfie camera with LED flash and Group Selfie function. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD InCell display crammed into a body meant for a 5.2-inch smartphone.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD when in a single SIM mode). It has a hybrid Dual SIM slot, screen recorder and split screen features, and rear fingerprint sensor.

The Allview V3 Viper boots Android 8.0 Oreo and relies on a 3,000mAh battery. It is priced at RON 899 (US$ 234) and will arrive in Black, Gold and Silver colour options.
