LG Electronics has announced plans to launch the 2018 editions of the K8 and K10 at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The LG K8 (2018) and LG K10 (2018) will be showcased at the MWC from February 26 until March 1, and will roll out globally in key regions such as Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
The new K-series smartphones come pre-loaded with various advanced camera features such as high speed auto focus, Low Light Noise Reduction feature for better low-light photography, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Timer Helper and Flash Jump Shot. They all boot Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS.
The LG K10 (2018) series, which includes the K10, K10α and K10+, feature a classic metallic design with metal U-frame and 2.5D Arc Glass, new Smart Rear Key front facing 8MP camera with Bokeh support and a rear facing 13MP camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) – the same found on the LG G6.
Compared to the previous generation, the LG K8 (2018) delivers more advanced camera UX features for 2018 and low-light photography has beeen improved. The device retains features such as Auto Shot, Gesture Shot, Flash for Selfie and Quick Share.
