Meizu has thrown its hat into the mix of fullscreen smartphones with the launch of the Meizu E3 (later believed to be called Meizu M6E internationally). The mid-tier device is expected to go on sale from March 21 in China and billed to tough it out with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The smartphone has a metal body build, Super mBack fingerprint sensor (0.2s unlock time) on the right hand side, USB Type-C port, and a 3,300mAh battery (non-removable) with 20W fast charging. It comes pre-loaded with Flyme OS 7 based on Android Nougat OS along with OneMind AI and game mode 2.0.
