Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini (SM-G8750) Benchmarked With SD660 SoC, 4GB RAM, Android Oreo

Moving on from the ‎recent worldwide availability of the ‎Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, Samsung is said to looking ahead with new smartphone offerings such as the Galaxy S9 Mini (SM-G8750) and Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U). Both devices have been put through their paces on Geekbench benchmark website.

Focusing on the Galaxy S9 Mini‎ (SM-G8750) which is currently in testing phase in China and could ‎be the first ‘Galaxy S Mini’ smartphone to be released since the Galaxy S5 Mini (2014). It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM.

The device will also ‎come pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo OS‎ with Samsung’s Experience UI laced on top. Asides the above, the benchmark listing as expected does not have other specs details such as the screen size and resolution, front and rear camera details and battery capacity.

Finally, the smartphone bagged a total score of 1619 and 5955 in the single-core and multi-core test categories. As with all unconfirmed reports, the existence of the Samsung SM-G8750 (Galaxy S9 Mini) cannot be confirmed yet but we would stay tuned for further details about this device.
