Following the Notebook 3 and Notebook 5, Samsung Electronics announced the launch of a new gaming laptop – the Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z. It was launched at the Intel Worldwide Launch Event of the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with 6 cores in Beijing, China.
Engineered for hardcore gaming performance and optimise heat management, the Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z gaming laptop comes equipped with revolutionary thermal management hardware, an in-built Z AeroFlow Cooling System consisting of three key components; the Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber, the Z AeroFlow Cooling Design and the Z Blade Blower.
The gaming laptop is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, supports the latest DDR4 memory with a bandwidth of 2,400 MHz and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-P graphics card. It also comes with a refined keyboard with Crater Keycaps and new Touchpad design for a more desktop feel.
The keyboard has shortcut keys for capturing and recording gameplay, as well as a silent mode option. The Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z Gaming Laptop will go on sale in select countries worldwide including Korea and China, in April and will be available in the US by Q3 2018.
