Vivo X21i Debuts With FHD+ 19:9 Display, Helio P60 SoC, Dual Rear Cameras

Vivo has quiety unveiled a new variant of the premium X21/ X21 UD smartphones. The Vivo X21i, as it is known, has the same notched 6.28-inch Full HD+ 19:9 AMOLED display with 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip and runs FunTouch 4.0 (built on Android 8.1 Oreo OS).

The Mediatek Helio P60 octa-core SoC on-board the Vivo X21i sets it apart  from the Vivo X21/ X21 UD, which are both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD).

Photography is handled by a rear facing 12MP (f/1.8) primary camera with Dual Pixel technology paired with a 5MP (f/2.4) secondary camera to capture depth information, and a front placed 24MP (f/2.0) camera with support for face unlock (up to 1024 facial scans). The smartphone also has a rear fingerprint sensor and depends on a slightly bigger 3,245mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Pricing for the Vivo X21i starts at CNY 2,698 (US$ 423) for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model. It will arrive in Aurora White, Black and Ruby Red colour options and will go on sale in China from May 19th.
