Along with its new flagship, OnePlus announced its new Bullets Wireless earphones at the OnePlus 6 launch event in London. The new companion will be available separately starting June 5 (same day as the limited-edition OnePlus 6 Silk Edition) in Black colour for a price tag of $69 / €69.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless comes built-in with aptX Bluetooth support and Energy Tube technology for clearer and accurate sounds, as well as support for OnePlus’ proprietary Dash Charge fast charging technology, when any USB-C charger is used to power up. It gets up to 5 hours of usage with just 10 mins of charging.
It is sweat and rain resistant, Google Assistant enabled and also has a Magnetic Control feature (works only with the OnePlus 6, 5T and 5) which automatically turns on the Bullet Wireless and resumes music when each ear is kept seperate. Once the ears are clasped back in place, music is paused and the earphones switch off. Future updates will allow the user answer calls by uncoupling the earphones.
Also, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless has an aluminium alloy body with a stretch resistant cable and the battery lasts up to 225 hours of standby time, 10.5 hours of talk time or 8 hours music continuous playback time on a single charge.
