HTC has finally unveiled its long-rumoured flagship – the HTC U12+. The successor to last year’s U11 series is packed into a large 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 widescreen display (no notch) with support for HDR10, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the new Edge Sense 2 technology for easy one-handed use.
Available in Ceramic Black, Flame Red and Transparent Blue colours, the HTC U12+ inherits the familiar ‘Liquid Surface’ design, IP68-rating (dust and water resistant) and key features found on the HTC U11+ such as BoomSound, HTC Sense Companion and HTC uSonic earbuds with active noise cancellation.
The smartphone has the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor on-board and boots Android 8.0 Oreo OS with HTC Sense UI (upgradeable to Android P). It also has support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant as well as Face Unlock and Quick Charge 3.0 to charge the battery from 0 to 50% in 35 minutes.
The smartphone has dual front and rear camera setups. The front camera includes dual 8MP sensors with 84-degree field of view, f/2.0 aperture, Bokeh mode, AR sticker and Face unlock. The rear setup include 12MP (Wide-Angle, HTC UltraPixel 4, OIS) + 16MP (telephoto) cameras.

Pricing and Availability
The HTC U12+ is available for pre-order in certain markets and regions in varying colours. In Europe and the UK, the 64GB storage variant will go on sale for €UR 799 and GBP 699, while the US market will get the 64GB variant for US$ 799 and the 128GB variant for US$ 849.
