LG X5 (2018) Debuts With 4,500mAh Battery, Android 8.0

LG Electronics has quietly listed up its latest budget X-series smartphone – the LG X5 (2018), almost two years after the original X5 made its debut. It is currently available only in South Korea via the three major carriers – SKT, KT and LG U+ for a price tag of KRW 363,000 (~ USD 330).

The LG X5 (2018) is backed by a massive 4,500mAh Battery (non-removable) which is expected to last more than a day of mixed usage. It sports a more classic polycarbonate body design, the same 5.5-inch 16:9 IPS LCD display with (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution, measures 154.7 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 177 grams.

The smartphone relies on the Mediatek’s MT6750 octa-core 1.5GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable via microSD card). For photography, it maintains the same 13MP camera with soft LED flash and front 5MP super wide angle camera for selfies.
