LG G7 One, LG G7 Fit Offer Flagship-Level Specs at Affordable Pricing

Ahead of IFA 2018 in Berlin, LG has added the LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit to its existing G7 series line-up. Both mid-range smartphones build on the foundation laid by the LG G7 ThinQ, which is to offer a right balance of premium features at an affordable pricing.

LG G7 One

The LG G7 One is the first ever Android One smartphone from the brand. It retains the same all glass design with polished metal frame found on the LG G7 ThinQ and sports a 6.1-inch Full vision display with QHD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Internally, it packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor paired with 4GN of RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable up to 2TB). It is equipped with a single 16MP (f/1.6, 71-degrees) rear camera and front facing 8MP (f/1.9, 80-degrees) wide angle camera.

The device boots Android Oreo OS along with a host of essential apps and will receive prompt updates directly from Google. It also comes with Google Lens (located in Google Assistant and Photos) and AI CAM feature, which will arrive later this year via an update.

The LG G7 One also features 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, DTS: X 3D Surround Sound, rear fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, IP68 rating (water and dust resistance), MIL-STD 810G Compliant , Boombox Speaker, and a 3,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.

LG G7 Fit

The LG G7 Fit has the same 6.1-inch Quad HD+ FullVision display, USB Type-C port and a host of other features as the LG G7 One. It relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB built-in storage (UFS 2.1).

For photography, the smartphone has a rear facing 16MP (f/2.2, 76-degrees) camera and front facing 8MP (f/1.9, 80-degrees) wide-angle camera. It also has features such as Boombox speaker, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Google Lens and AI CAM.

Visitors to the IFA 2018 (August 31 – September 5) can visit LG’s Booth in Messe Berlin to experience the G7 One and G7 Fit. Pricing and availability will be announced in local markets.
