Apple unveils iPad Mini 3 with Touch ID, Gold Colour option

Apple alongside the iPad Air 2 announced the thirg generaion of the iPad Mini family, the iPad Mini 3. Taking time to access the iPad 3 Mini much has not changed concerning the device than it has added Touch ID fingerprint scanner, Apple Pay.

Asides that it retains most of the specs of the iPad Mini 2 with its 7.9-inch (1,536 x 2,048 pixels) IPS display, 64-bit Apple A7 Chipset wih M7 motion co-processor, 5MP iSight camera and HD FaceTime camera.

Just like the iPad Air 2, the iPad Mini 3 would also come in Silver, Space Grey and Gold colour options. The price starts at $400, $500 and $600 for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB models (Wi-Fi only). For the Wi-Fi + LTE models the price starts at $530, $630 and $730 for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.

Pre-ordering for the iPad Mini 3 starts tomorrow, October 17 and the 29 countries would be first in line to get the device. The list of countries includes – US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (Wi-Fi models only), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau (Wi-Fi models only), Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK by the end of next week.
