The ZTE Axon 9 Pro is the latest Axon-branded flagship from ZTE after a brief period of hiatus. It has most of the features expected from a premium device in 2018 and is powered by the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core mobile platform paired with 6GB of RAM.
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro sports a notched 6.21-inch (2248 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED display with 2.5D Glass and 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It is equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor, 128GB built-in expandable storage, USB Type-C port and IP68-certification (water and dust resistance).
The smartphone has a dual camera setup which includes a primary 12MP (1.4μm, f/1.75 aperture, OIS) camera with dual pixel AF and a secondary 20MP (130° wide-angle lens) camera. At the front, it features a 20MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with face unlock support.
It comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS along with AI based functions and backed by a 4,000mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging support. Like other Axon devices from ZTE, it comes with Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers but misses out on a 3.5mm audio jack.

The ZTE Axon 9 Pro will soon go on sale across markets in Europe for a price tag of EUR 650 (~ USD 755). Information on availability in other regions has not been revealed yet.
