Official: Huawei Mate 20 Lite With Kirin 710 SoC, Four Cameras

In preparation for the launch of the Huawei Mate 20 and its Pro version, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite was showcased at the just concluded IFA 2018 in Berlin. It is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC and features a notched display, four AI powered cameras and large capacity battery.

The ‎Huawei Mate 20 Lite has a premium glass and metal design with curved edges and arrives in Black, Platinum Gold and Sapphire colours. It sports a notched 6.3-inch (2340 x 1080) Full HD+ FullView TFT LCD display and is backed by a 3,750mAh battery with both 18W Quick Charge support and Huawei’s intelligent power management for longer battery life.

 

For photography, the smartphone’s 20MP + 2MP dual rear camera features AI-powered intelligent system, HDR Pro technology and supports Super Slow Motion, while the front notch shelters the 24MP + 2MP cameras. The front cameras support real time HDR preview and features Huawei’s version of Apple’s AniMojis called the ‘3D QMoji’.

It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Asides AI scene recognition, some of the other AI features are AI Shopping Assistant, AI Game Suite and AI Noise cancellation in phone calls.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite is priced starting at £379 and available at Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone from the 5th of September and at EE from October. It will also be available from Tesco and Argos.
