The Vivo X23 is the latest entrant to Vivo’s X series smartphone family. The Chinese brand’s new high-end device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 AIE octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM and boots Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The Vivo X23 has a 3D Glass body with metal body frame (same as the Vivo X21) and a waterdrop notched 6.41-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED Halo FullView display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 1.76 mm slim bezels on the sides, 91.27-percent screen-to-body ratio and 4th-gen in-display fingerprint sensor (0.35s unlock time).
Camera-wise, the rear dual camera setup includes a primary 12MP f/1.8 camera with Sony IMX363 sensor and dual-tone LED flash paired with a secondary 13MP camera with 125-degree wide-angle lens to capture 3D depth of field information. The front notch houses a 12MP f/2.0 camera with AI beautify.
The Vivo X23 comes pre-loaded with Vivo’s Jovi AI and power is supplied by a 3,400mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. It is priced at CNY 3,498 (~ USD 511) and will go on sale China from September 14th. Magic Night Blue, Phantom Purple and Phantom Red as well as special Fashion Orange and Fashion Purple are the available colour options.
