Vivo V11, V11i and V11 Pro with In-Display Fingerprint, Front 25MP Camera

Last week, Vivo unveiled three variants of its new V11 smartphone in different markets. The Vivo V11, which succeeds the Vivo V9, is available in Thailand for THB 13,999 (US$ 427) and the toned-down V11i model for THB 9,999 (US$ 305). The Vivo V11 Pro is the V11 for the Indian market.

Vivo V11

The Vivo V11 has the same ‘Waterdrop Display’ design as the OPPO F9 and Vivo X23. It packs a 6.41-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 Halo FullView Display with 91.27% screen-to-body ratio, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots, Bluetooth 5 LE and a 3,400mAh battery with Dual-Engine 18W fast charging. Internally, it relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage.

Camera-wise, the rear dual camera setup includes 12MP (f/1.8, Dual PD) + 5MP (f/2.4) sensors with AI features and a front 25MP (f/2.0) camera for selfies and IR Face unlock. It comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 4.5 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo) and Vivo’s AI assistant Jovi as well as Jovi Smart Scene, Google Lens and Google Assistant. Similar to Apple’s AniMoji and Huawei’s Qmoji, it comes with Funmoji. Starry Night and Nebula are the colour options.

Vivo V11i

The Vivo V11i has a smaller 6.3-inch FHD+ Halo FullView display with 2.5D curved glass, 4GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage, rear fingerprint sensor and a smaller 3,315mAh battery with (9V/2A) 18W fast charging. It is powered by the Mediatek Helio P60 processor and also run Funtouch OS 4.5 (based on Android Oreo). Photography is handled by 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with AI features and a front facing 25MP (f/2.0) camera for selfies.

Vivo V11 Pro

For the Indian market, the Vivo V11 Pro is the successor to the V9. Most of the specs are the same as the Vivo V11; however the storage has dropped to 64GB (also expandable up to 256GB) and both Dazzling Gold and Starry Night Black are the colours to choose from. Pricing starts at INR 25,990 – 28,900 in either and sales commence September 12 from Offline stores and online retailers such Amazon.in, Flipkart and Vivo Online store. In Malaysia, the V11 Pro is priced at RM 1,699 while the price tag is PKR 50,000 in Pakistan.
