Apple launches Mac OS X Yosemite

Apple has announced that the latest version of its operating system for notebooks and desktops, the OS X Yosemite (OS X 10.10 Yosemite) is now available for free download at the Mac App store. The operating system which was announced in June is finally set free.

The OS X Yosemite comes with a revamped user interface, updated core apps, seamless support working with Cloud Drive and iOS 8, a new Today view, a redesigned Spotlight and updated versions of Safari, Mail, Messages and iTunes.

      • The latest version of Mac OS X can store files of any type with the Apple iCloud drive, organise then like regular folders; and in turn can be accessible on Windows PC, Mac, iPhone and iPad.

• Improved Safari browser and iTunes 12.
