Meizu has introduced the Meizu 16X with in-display fingerprint sensor. The latest entrant to the brand’s 16 series slots in behind the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus and is priced accordingly. It is available for pre-order on the company’s website and shipping starts September 26.
The Meizu 16X is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 10nm mobile platform paired with 6GB of RAM. It retains the same 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 90.62% screen-to-body ratio, 12MP (f/1.8) + 20MP (f/2.6) dual rear cameras and a front facing 20MP (f/2.0) camera with AI beauty recognition and Face unlock.
The 16X runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Flyme OS on-top and depends on a 3,100mAh battery with mCharge fast charging. Pricing starts at CNY 2098 (~US$ 207) for the 64GB storage option and CNY 2398 (~ US$ 350) for the 128GB model. Black, Gold and White are the available colours.
The company also release a new ‘Aurora Blue’ colour option for the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus, which costs CNY 100 more than the regular colour options across all RAM and Storage options.
