Huawei Unveils Enjoy Max and Enjoy 9 Plus With Dual Rear Cameras, EMUI 8.2

Huawei has launched two new camera-centric phones in the Enjoy series for the Chinese market. The duo, Huawei Enjoy Max and Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus both have dual rear cameras, FHD+ (2244  x 1080 pixels) screen resolution and run EMUI 8.2 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS).

The Huawei Enjoy Max has a premium looking leather-like back, 7.12-inch 18.7:9 2.5D curved glass display with 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, rear fingerprint sensor and a large 5,000mAh battery with fast charging. Judging by features, it is closely similar to the Honor 8X Max.

The rear camera setup includes a primary 16MP sensor with AI Scene recognition paired with a secondary 2MP sensor to capture depth information. A 8MP sensor sits in the front notch for selfies. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor and features dual stereo speakers with Smart PA and Dolby Atmos support.

The Huawei Enjoy Max is priced at CNY 1,699 (USD 246) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and CNY 1,999 (USD 289). It arrives in Black, Brown and White colours.

The Enjoy 9 Plus was initially listed online shortly before it debuted as the Huawei Y9 (2019) globally. It is powered by the Kirin 710 paired with an i7 co-processor and GPU Turbo, and arrive in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for CNY 1,499 (USD 217) and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage for CNY 1,699 (USD 246).‎
