Last week, ASUS commenced receiving pre-orders for two new Zenfone Max phones – the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 and ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 in Russia. Sales is scheduled to commence on December 12.
Both models are the successor to the Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Max Pro M1 respectively, and feature dual rear cameras, rear fingerprint sensors, Android Oreo OS and a notched 6.3-inch 19:9 display.
The Zenfone Max M2 has a HD+ screen resolution, Metal back with plastic finish (top and bottom), up to 4GB of RAM, 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and a 4,000mAh battery. While the Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a FHD+ screen resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a larger 5,000mAh battery.

- The ASUS Zenfone Max M2 is on sale in Russia for RUB 12,990 (USD 194) and arrives in Black, Blue and Gold colours.
- The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 arrives only in Blue and Gray colours for RUB 17,990 (USD 269).
