Leak: Supposed Samsung Galaxy S10 Launch Details, Pricing and More

Samsung’s next flagship smartphone – the Galaxy S10 is expected to go official early next year (February 2019). The South Korean company will schedule an UnPacked event before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in February and would commence sales on March 8.

According to various reports, the Samsung Galaxy S10 (codenamed Beyond) will have the Infinity-O style display, similar to one used on the Galaxy A8s, however, the placement of the O notch is still up in the air. Depending on the variant, the notch will house single or dual front cameras.

The S10 will reportedly come in three screen variants: a Regular version with 6.1-inch display; a Plus version with 6.4-inch display and a cheaper Flat version with 5.8-inch display. All models retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and will likely have triple rear cameras (standard/wide/tele).

Like Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro, the Galaxy S10 will be able to charge other mobile devices wirelessly with a feature called PowerShare. The device will also use ultrasound waves to read the ridges of the finger in 3D and Samsung is said to have ditched Iris Scanner entirely.

The ‘Flat’ S10 will arrive with 128GB storage for GBP 699 and the ‘Regular’ S10 will arrive with the option of either 128GB or 512GB storage for GBP 799 and GBP 999 respectively. The ‘Plus’ version will also come in 128GB or 512GB storage option for GBP 899 and GBP 1099 respectively.

Samsung will also release a 1TB storage version of the Galaxy S10 Plus for a whopping GBP 1,399. The company could also showcase a 5G-ready variant at launch but this will be available by late Q2 2019.
